      I changed my Engies to have 1, 2, and 3 visible because I can't see the little tech lines zoomed out, but maybe that is also too much. I'm looking at your screenshots and not totally a fan, but I do agree that with the default icons finding that T2 engy is too hard. Perhaps use the spanner symbol, then make it a double/triple spanner for T2/T3 engies? But the 1/2/3 icon is good enough to also make an option, if you are willing to make a few variants.

      Veto would never allow you to restrict an entire category of maps, even if you worked together and coordinated vetos with the enemy in queue.

      @futureman If you are banned, you will not be able to login to the FAF launcher. It'll instead show you a distinct message which includes the reason for your ban, for which replay that ban was applied, and for how long the ban will last. Seems like you have unrelated chat issues, check in the discord for someone that can help you fix.

      @nex I don't know, kind of feels like we're exiting the vampire castle. A rigorous analytical solution for a better team rating is beyond my mathematical ability without some heavy research, but that doesn't mean there isn't one floating around out there. Also, given the setup we have, it's also possible to silently test alternative systems (TrueSkill was tested in the same way against Elo, graded based on their percent of wins predicted correctly). Mathematically the metric we want is the players ability to play the game and cooperate with their team well I would refer to that as a goal/outcome--but now I know where you're coming from. And I agree, that is the outcome I'm looking for. I can spitball about what metrics would be good for FAF (in game score? mass efficiency? kills?) but can't confidently say that using any of them wouldn't be abused/go sideways. @FtXCommando A meta-level correction would be to incorporate map statistics. Map gen maps have a larger effect, maps that other people play a lot have a larger effect (and vice versa), playing the same map over and over has a smaller effect*. *Could grade this based on size, terrain, and distribution of mass spots to catch all the gap clones. EDIT: After asking my friend Mr. GPT-4, looks like TrueSkill2 is a good starting point for all the above.

      I have just created a mod that rebalances the tml.[image: 1722345348931-zgdhnbsdhjnsrt.jpg] problems with the tml as I see them; 6k damage for very little cost no risk vs reward factor, if tml doesnt work you risk/lose nothing and can reclaim the tml tml can be fired way too quickly and kill an opponents whole base in about 10 seconds spreading tmd around takes time Key changes; -Missile energy cost's have been increased significantly to create a risk factor of energy stalling when making tmls." -Missile mass costs have been slightly increased. -Missile damage has been reduced to 2k so that it doesnt kill the reclaim but still enough to snipe t2 mexes -Capacity has been reduced to 1 other than cybran as their launcher has 4 launch tubes so makes sense -TML build rate has been increased so that assisting is less powerful. -TML explosion damage has been increased to match missile damage at 2k, so dont stand near it if it gets destroyed, again creating a risk factor for tml use."

      at least for the moment where the league placements are only rarely displaying. Which I have to ask, if the new system isn't functional yet, why has it already supplanted the old system ? Are there cases where divisions of players don't show up even though they should? To my knowledge the system is fully functional. It can be that people don't have a placement yet because the current season started only recently.

Sure, this is was my initial post about. But this actually would be matchmaking queue) Hence no need to hardcode new mode while it is already implemented in queues.
