Sorry i didnt respond sooner, this was actually because I chose the 'rehost' option instead of exiting to windows. once I closed everything down I was then able to rejoin games.

It happened without a GC too. I will fish up replay IDs.

@Jip ok, took a while before we could get together to see the issue. It's probably not the ICE adapter, but it looks like it keeps the game client open behind the 'bad password' message, and if you try to reconnect, it will just stay 'connecting' forever without connecting. To recreate: Have someone start a lobby. purposely join with wrong password. you will get a bad password message and the FAF client will be on top. attempt to rejoin the same game with the correct password You will see 'connecting' but you will not connect, because the first client never closed, but someone who doesn't alt-tab or use task manager will not immediately see that anything is wrong; only the infinite connect window. Solution is just to close all instances of FA and retry, but it might be what's catching people.

@archsimkat Could actually be your mouse doing a slightly too long press causing an accidental formation move. No joke, I had this issue a lot more frequently in the past before changing to a new mouse. Now I rarely see it. Still, this behavior happens sometimes to me as well and it doesn't look like a formation move. Not common though and I don't have a replay id on hand for this

Мне помогло в диспетчере отключить лишние звуковые устройства и перезагрузиться Лишние это все кроме колонок или наушников, например устройства nvidia или amd для передачи звука по HDMI. Ещё говорят помогает удалить основное звуковое устройство в диспетчере устройств и перезагруиться (это равносильно "легкой" переустановке драйвера) Вообще проблема часто возникает при подключении новых звуковых устройств и решается обычной перезагрузкой. Т.е. если у тебя ноут в двумя видеокартами то дискретная может включаться и выключаться а вместе с ней и аудиоустройства видеокарт и возможно это вызывает проблемы, но это не точно.

Currently we are aware of several bugs in the Golden Crystal mission. If you kill the convoys but it says objective failed / failing to kill says complete. The novax and artillary stations not transferring ownership when you capture the station. We know of these but the devs have limited time so while we hope they will be fixed we do not know a current time frame.

Yeah - these are very fragile. We're open for contributions to them, but we have nobody with sufficient time and experience to pick them up.

You can start the game directly if you navigate to: C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin. You can then launch a Skirmish, that allows you to save / load as usual! I see you're playing against AIs, I can highly recommend you some AIs from the vault. As a few examples: RNGAI / M27AI / Uveso AI. There's nothing in your logs, chances are the behavior is specific to your system. I don't know how to help you debug that.

For the record - a new install with the gog version did not work and caused the same problems. So I've installed the steam version - this works without any problems.

Still, the Laser locking on the ACU while the Transport was sucked in looked hilarious!
