from now on you can also start the FAF version directly wihtout using the FAF launcher.

Just make an desktop shortcut of the file C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe
(ProgramData is a hidden folder!)

Hello, I powered through a game for a bit after my post and noticed the game only freezes when there is dialog or banter from the characters. It was so bad at the start of the missions because all the npc's keeps talking but after the start it's only the objective reminders and banter that makes it freeze. It's still very jarring so I'll look at your suggestion thank you.

The effects file highlighted appears to be the issue, and works with low success rate when deleting it, but mostly it just re-populates and throws the error again...

Been troubleshooting for HOURS at this point

Can you start SC from Steam/GOG, without FAF at all?

Unfortunately, there seems to be a language barrier. Someone who speaks Russian would be better for this thread.

Unfortunately, there is no manpower for the mission-stuff. The Campaign Team has an open position requiring at least basic knowledge of LUA. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is worth mentioning that I did see some improvements on certain boots with Nvidia Display Container LS stopped within services.

Also ill note that it doesn't occur everytime. It seems like roughly 3-5 boots of the game have the issue, but with FAF closing the game frequently, it's more likely yo occur

Okay, I managed to get Economy icons overlay fixed AND the reveal position mod was reinstalled, all good.
How can I set the text sizes for the mass/energy income/spending?
Also, the icons of SMD/Nuke projectiles (+subs, Sera battleship) are off too.
