    My 5 cents Absolver - yes its really good at what it does but is role is very niche - ironically its best used against its own faction, due to harbingers having shields, usefull against seraphim with t3 mobile shields, limited against uef and absolutely pointless against cybran, making absolver emp would make the unit more versatile against all factions and units, but if not done reservedly could easily become op, I always thought that shield breaker would suit cybran better as they dont use mobile shields. Czar - best used against asf as mentioned above, but rubbish as air to ground despite having big laser, a small speed buff would make it better to use in both situations but something that big moving quickly could look strange, so hp buff would be prefered as it takes only 25 or less asf to kill it Spearhead is annoying as hell, most of the annoying units in faf belong to UEF, lower hp would be nice, also consider to prevent fire when moving. Novax - obviously Othuum - speed buff would be nice to counter short range, another point for seraphim would be to match mobile shield speed with othuums, come to think of it all of the t2 shields move at different speeds to the main fighting units wich has always bugged me. Stealth - is brutally effective but rather than changing stealth costs consider making t1 scouts cheaper, not the build time just mass and energy, navy stealth is far more jarring as distances are much greater I have no thoughts about the mercy its very rarely used, however I have seen it used to devestating effect but I have also seen it acheive absolutely nothing so meh. same with the paragon very rarely seen maybe 1-100 games and ive also seen people with para get stomped, so if you can get away with making one without being punshed then you probably deserve to win at that point anyway.

    In a fierce battles and changed format - all games 5v5 - agreed with both parties, we finished it with the score 1-3 in favour of [dp] Clan! Suddenly 2600-rated Terarii showed up and after the second game with the score 1-1, our main "Dude with a club" Lunyshko was feeling bad to continue (So unlucky!) With replacements it was hard to encounter with so high rated dp clan members, and we were eventually outplayed.. Unfortunately, in the end some connection issues made it hard to prolong the match to bo7. 13.07.2025 RESPECT goes to: Deli Nuggets Terarii TheWreck Tersto Thanks all for coming and see you in another FUN FAF CLAN WARS!

    I think we're all generally agreed that sure @BerserKK if you build a working prototype then we'll take a look. But nobody else is interested in rewriting FAF on a completely different connection infrastructure.

    Yeah I know and recognize that posting my stuff here does not mean this HAS to be the outcome of something. Regardless, the rename thread is the perfect example of people discussing here to change / lower the rule, and suddenly it gets more strict and then SLIGHTLY less strict after, once again, huge backlash while not addressing the core issues. It is the way FAF wants to have the rules which is a big issue. Very broad and very easy to use rules. Sounds good on paper, but is bad when being applied. The fact that you dont get why "we" want a faster rename period just shows that you dont play this game usually / in tourneys.

    No, it's a bug where to my understanding: The game ends before the server receives a game result. It's been reported on the Discord with a tentative fix by Nomander ready. It just needs to be patched in.

    I like the idea of having a "you have been banned, now what" page. It's true that most of the information is already accessible, but the discussion shows that it's clearly not as well-known as it needs to be. Currently, when you try to log in you see your ban duration and the reason for the ban. It's not immediately obvious how to proceed from there. If we link to a dedicated page we can compile all relevant information there. This should give people a clear path what their options for actions are now and should increase the trust that the system is well thought-out and working. Information on that page should include: link to rule page link to explanation of the appeal process explain that appealing can still make sense even if the ban is very short, because your moderation history is taken into account in future reports explain that if people think there is an issue with the process, even after appealing, they can contact Giebmasse as the team lead or the board. explain why individual decisions should not be discussed in public and clarify that discussing rules in general and proposing changes is still possible in public, preferably the forum. @Nuggets said in Proposal: Establishment of an Oversight and Review Committee to Support Fair Moderation and Governance: To put it in clearer words: We, at least the people I know / interact with, feel like there is a huge lack of understanding as to how our "high" rated games go.     It got removed because the shader that this biome uses got changed with the latest game release. It will be readded once the necessary changes in the map generator have been completed.

    grid system from WC3, where you just build units, and they go on their happy little adventure automatically. So an autobattler? It's definitely possible, down to placing units on a grid like they're buildings (we already have that in the form of cheat spawning units).

    Based on the discussion here but mostly on discord I think for ACU sharing it will be two options: Recall ACU: avoids the explosion killing all BP/army in mid/late game. Permanent share: for people who don't mind ACU share due to balance (including mods) and lobby wait time reasons. No long-term temporary sharing as it is too complicated for players. This means early game is unsalvageable after a disconnect. For the share condition on disconnect, there will be no lobby option: Recalling ACU fullshares the units unless the ACU dies during recall, in which case the normal share rule is used. How should this "recall" be done? Some have said teleport it for a long time (30s) so it can get killed. I prefer the idea of sharing it for 30s and then it quickly teleports away because it creates a more natural situation for how the ACU can be killed or saved (avoids TMLs or snipes, doesn't stand in important locations). If the permanently shared ACU is killed then the normal share rule is applied at the time of death. It's simply as if they gave you all their units and then died. Originally I had a hidden timer turning the death into fullshare after some time, this idea is now removed to simplify the rules. Should the permanently shared ACU count for keeping your own army alive?

    Just a heads up but there is a mod that gives you the ability to shoot air units but to be honest having overcharge on air is a little worthless. If someone has too many gunships the overcharge is useless. 40 gunships is enough to enter a base and kill the commander long before he gets the second shot off for overcharge.
