      Beetle’s 1100 is an aoe so if we’re talking theoretical max damage that aoe could be packed with say 35 units, meaning abut 40k damage for just 190 mass. Hence why realistic scenarios and likely practical results are much more valuable to assessing things than theoretical best case scenarios

      @Caliber Would much rather to fix or to balance out MML's and TMD's bit better then novax since those units dont really do much at all. Less so for TMD but still requires balance. xD Novax is a late stage game ender and to be honest... it is pretty bad one since you need multiple of it to start doing anything. Memes be memes.

      @waffelzNoob youre right its not hard, but we see implementaions for other actions that are also no hard being added all the time to make the gameplay more conveniant (less clicking needed) for the player. As pointed out by saver the back up distance for the fatboy is 30, I dont beleive any one has any concerns with the fatty being 30, the mega is 15, and somehow this would break the mega? Its just a small easy change I wanted to suggest that makes micro more convenient for player thats all.

Even if you sample was more representative, there are fundamental differences that won’t allow FAF to ever have the same accuracy as chess. Chess players play the same “map”. Cannot expect the same level of consistency when playing hundreds and thousands of different maps. Last but not least - chess is 1v1, but FAF is mostly team games. Trueskill is better than basic chess ELO in evaluating players’ skill, but there are more obstacles contributing to larger swings too.

      No, it's a bug where to my understanding: The game ends before the server receives a game result. It's been reported on the Discord with a tentative fix by Nomander ready. It just needs to be patched in.

      Deribus is right lets focus on the billy I propose two changes reduce the range by a third meaning the acu will be slightly more exposed in order to use it. if the damage of a normal missile is 6k lets keep it at 6k and make the billy an aoe upgrade to the regular missile. (so at least some t3 units can survive) perhaps a cost reduction could be in order with these changes to match

      I don't think this would be a good thing. I have an extremely powerful computer but recently (over the last few months) noticed I was getting in-game crashes after going years with none. The crashes would occur anytime I was zooming in or out really quickly. The game would just freeze and after some messing around turning anti aliasing off is what worked and I haven't had crashes for a few days now. I know it maybe seems like it's not related to this thread but it feels like it is because I sthnk the overload of rendering when zooming so quick is what was causing the system crashes. Strange that it would all the sudden start happening but nonetheless it proves the point that draw distances are important. I'd love to be able to see reclaim and such as I'm zoomed out more but with this game it just seems like you got to take what you get.

      Pathing stuff like this is really tied into the engine so there's not much we can do. I think you can't even make ACUs path over units because it would automatically apply that 1x1 footprint to all 1x1 units (all t1-t3). So a lot of it is wishful thinking unless you dive deep into reverse engineering. I think this would be a good thing as I dont believe players consider the known poor pathing in this game to be a positive aspect. The bad pathing has cemented itself in the game's balance and micro so for some it is a positive aspect just to diversify supcom from other games, even though it has its frustrating moments.

      The second image is not about LOD of a unit. It is problem with how engine optimizes map terrain mesh.

      Some important unit changes in the latest version, Novax now has an 8000 energy per second drain to fire the beam, if you e stall the beam stops. The billy nuke now has the impact effects of an SACU explosion with an AOE reduction to match the effects, along with a less annoying sound, In my opinion improving the Billy upgrade by one million percent. The harbinger is now amphibious, although be careful as the only thing protecting the harbinger while underwater is its shield so if the shield is down for whataver reason the harbinger will take damage over time while underwater. The Fatboy gets higher movement speed 1.75 - 2.0 but reduced rate of fire while moving

      seems like a lot of steps for a few lines that may be on screen for ten seconds, I play in windowed mode so I could just copy, minimize, paste in a second, and enjoy the salt in all languages, I have tried the phone thing but like phong says its not the easiest toption.

      This is exactly what FAF is doing. Your local replay stream is saved locally, and the "consensus" replay is saved on the FAF server. "Consensus" means that this is the replay that matches the majority of the players still connected.
