This election reminds me of one that just happened where people didn't like mean tweets so they wanted a different person.
Just because you think ftx is mean has no bearing on what others think of him. I do not instantly take things as a directed personal attack so I often do not find malace in ftx's posts, maybe others should grow a little.
Drama fatigue is starting to set in, it's obvious there are some clear problems here, and if everyone doesn't start to buck up and work together, we will all fail together.

Tech level is about cost, a tech 3 Corvette that costs more than destroyers and frigates doesn't make sense especially when there isn't a t1 corvette. I think if we to add a unit a t3 frigate with all around better stats would be a better addition.
There isn't any push from the devs right now for adding units, so I would try other fixes right now than unit adding especially a unit addition would totally break navy and would have to rebalance everything.
Maybe add more range less dmg and less hp to frigates

Would like a game mode very friendly for new players while hopefully not making it a crutch. I was thinking matchmaker with very simple 5x5 maps with obvious terrain and you start with a pre build base of 4 mexes, 3 land facs, 1 air, radar, and 10 pgens
With share until death you only need to kill one acu to win, and it's not very fun when your teammates acu gets killed.
With fullshare when your teams acu gets killed your seriously fed for about the next 5 mins and if you hold out and figure everything out then it's just a 2v1 after that.
Share until death on tmm makes it unplayable unless every map is astro.
If you want 2v2 share until death, nothing stops you from starting a lobby

Ftx I think that would break since you could get T2 where normally you wouldn't like proxies or islands that are typically vulnerable to tech

I did see a team game where someone made 7-8 shards and defended air really well.
Makes me wonder in t1 unties are better
In t2-t3 they have some small uses
