    Hats off for your patience when I was being grumpy Just in case it helps anyone else getting this type of unexplained crash, I recently removed my Nvidia GPU and am using my onboard graphics - since then it hasn't happened again... May be a coincidence but I suspect not. Not sure if my hardware is faulty, or perhaps driver problem. Anyway, check your hardware stability, if possible troubleshoot by taking out unnecessary components.

    Most desyncs happen due to data packet loss or data packets arriving in the wrong order however. Spotting units doesnt cause any big data spikes since every player's game already "knows" what is there (in order to simulate the game properly) and scouting just updates everyone's vision map and reveals the unit type.

    By redownloading the map through the client you didn't just update the map, but also update the game assets . Great to hear it is working, and if it does break again - please take the time to report it again!

    To do "shift-g" as a move order, you need to: 1 - select multiple units (the ones you want to bunch up) 2 - they need to have a regular move order. If they don't already have one, you can give them one 3 - then while they are still selected, hold "shift" and press "g" You should see their move order change. Instead of one order for all of them, they each get their own individual move order. And this causes them to behave differently.

    i get some equilibrium flashbacks from this. i think that might be an issue for all amphibious units, they often can be right clicked by frigates while they are underwater

    This is a known bug that can happen if there is a blip in the connection to the lobby server and the client needs to reconnect. Right now the client doesn't resend the factions when reconnecting.

    @zhanghm18 Could you please post the complete game.logs from the beginning? The most important parts of the log are cuted out. These errors are the result of errors that occurred previously (and don't show up in your logs). Also a good idea to check the game without Mods first.

    @just_norm I read this and it sounds like your referring to the refresh rate of the lobby on the client? If it is , I would just fiddle with filter options to force the client to refresh from your perspective. I would add that I prefer this lobby behaviour. @phong Yea i get that. Sounds like sound advice. Although given he says he has a full lobby and the lobby has only 3 (like a historical reference) is it possible he means the above

    Try to open the properties on exe file of the game in task manager, then compatibility and settings of high DPI. using 1 of 2 options there may help

    It has been discussed here too, you'll find your answer there. We don't know why some games break up and others don't. Take for example these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeDvyoTluqY There's maybe 16+ players in these games (including observers) and they have no issues. Whenever I play I usually don't have issues either. Doesn't mean they don't exist, they do. The best suggestion I have for you is to play smaller games and maybe play with different people. Looking at your replay history you're playing constantly with roughly the same people.
