      Vision changes probably make it harder or no longer possible to maneuver a stealth drop behind enemy lines as Cybran. I didn't check that ingame, but it sounds like +20% vision to everything puts an end to that strategy.

      Agree, the stealth upgrade on Cybran com is much less useful now, it’s basically more for HP which is a further homogenization of the factions. The “problem” of units not immediately appearing at the edge of vision in fog of war never seemed like a huge issue to me

      Sorry but it was more then 1/17. Including the other small maps this was half the time. I got small maps three consecutive times against the same aeon player. Glad to hear about the trial change. Its not that I dont ever want to play on a small map, just not with water on it.

      This is a known bug that can happen if there is a blip in the connection to the lobby server and the client needs to reconnect. Right now the client doesn't resend the factions when reconnecting.

      I agree that the buildtime/mass and energy/buildtime ratios should be changed to match as they are uniquely worse for seemingly no reason, but I would rather have the Rhino actually do 100 DPS instead of making it cheaper

      While it might seem like a cool idea, it's neither feasible from the code perspective nor balance one. You can't have units that can go under your naval force and suddenly submerge and obliterate your cruisers/destroyers.

      idk if off topic, but, I always find it weird that any missile weapons don't just retarget the enemy and instead self destruct, if anywhere, this should be at least done on cybran cruisers to make their aa less trash in comparison to others, so far nanodart was changed from what it used to be (slow moving missile that speeds up over time) to be more in line with what other cruisers have (immediately fast moving missile) simply because of how bad it originally was even disregarding overkill, and is now about as good as other cruisers at it, but it lost what it originally was

      so if it could change its target mid-flight, being slow moving again but able to retarget might in fact make it more unique of weapon, letting cruisers create a "cloud" of damage above them that anything flying through would get wrecked by, like a flying swarm of mines, instead of just another boring missile weapon that instantly gets full speed and charges directly at initial target like all the others, but of course idk how sim speed would like having so many missiles in the air at same time, looking for targets

      for uef and aeon I instead suggest, like you said, simply making them target properly like tmd does, to not overkill, but idk if that can even work for units with different hps instead of homogeneous ones (tactical missiles) that are all same hp

      The cybran nano upgrade is a waste unless you stick them in water for navy reclaim. Tying the health to this overpriced upgrade means that they go from being cost efficient vs t3 units to something that is inferior to them. Unless the build cost is also reduced.

      Nano upgrade on Aoen and Cybran right now only makes sense vs a limited number of T1-T3 units. Very hard to stop if you dont have much to throw at it. Just not very good vs EXPs or large armies of Percies f.ex.
      The main issue is though that you need a certain amount of HP (which sera SACU gets with its version of the Nano upgrade) to make it relevant.
      Might be an idea to think about whether Cybran and Aoen should get some base HP increase with their Nano upgrade. At current they have a lot more regen from the nano but little HP gain from it.

      It can catch players off guard, but after that your ACU is extremely vulnerable. A risky play, doesn't sound that bad to me.

      @zeldafanboy The low dps of medusa is also due to stats. It is designed to make up for its lower health and dps with its stun. Emp effects do not work on shields. I'm not saying it should do ridiculous damage to shields, just enough to normalise it. Something like +50%? Overall its not a big buff for emp, just something to equalise it when the stun does not occur due to shields.

      Thank you again for reaching out. We'll look into other lasers (Seraphim T2 PD / Destroyer, UEF t3 Battlecruiser) to see if they're viable or require a similar change somehow.

      You stop it by not getting into that position in the first place. What you’re saying is a line of thinking myself and most other people fall into, not just in FAF but in general. You’re in a situation and it feels bad because you can’t counter or deal with that situation well. You think “well if this is happening, how do I counter it?” Your mistake happened before that situation started. What you should be asking is “how can I not get into this situation in the first place.” That’s not helpful for when you’re already in that position, but it’s helpful for not getting in that position in the first place in the future.

      So how do you avoid another faction doing a gun com or pd creep into your base as Cybran? Well PD creep has an easy and direct counter, especially as Cybran. Make MML. Cybran MMLs are hard to counter for any faction other than Aeon because the missiles split after being hit once.

      The gun com one is more interesting because it goes back to my previous point about avoiding the situation in the first place. If you’re constantly raiding and destabilizing your opponent it’s going to be much harder for them to amass a large enough force for them to feel comfortable pushing you hard. You can constantly hold the threat of Corsair snipe over them keeping them from wanting to push in too far with their com. Force them to leave their com more exposed with stealth raids using a mobile stealth field, a rhino or two, and a couple Medusas. They have to move either their com or some units to intercept or you can do a lot of dmg if you handle those raiding groups well. Either way it slows them down and keeps them on the defensive, which is fundamentally what you want as any faction, but especially as Cybran. As Cybran you also have the best tools to do that with. Stealth, fast t1 tanks, and good anti unit t1 arty is a nice combo for raiding at virtually all stages of the game.
