    Hi! Since July 16 I can't join or host any game — FA launches, reaches the lobby, then hangs on "Connecting..." forever. The ICE debug window and telemetry stay completely empty: no peers, no gathering, nothing. From my logs the game processes CreateLobby fine and the client receives GameState Idle → Lobby, but after that no JoinGame / HostGame / ConnectToPeer ever arrives, so the ICE adapter is never asked to connect to anyone. My lobby connection itself looks healthy the whole time (join requests get responses, I even got a game_not_ready error back once, and the game list keeps updating live). Last working game: July 15. Same silent behavior on client 2026.1.0 and after updating to 2026.4.1 — ~12 attempts across 6+ different games.

    FAForever Map Editor | ACUs/Units not spawning

    Looking at the code, for each army, the game tries to create 'INITIAL' group. If the group exists, that's what you get. If it doesn't exists or is empty, then the ACU is spawned. Any other group has to be spawned by map script.

    Access to the replay vault is equally open to everyone. Maybe they changed their name? Remember that you can only search replays going back 1 year unless you change the date range in the search options. Look at your own replays to find a match you played with them, and the replay vault should show you their new names.

    Your account is not linked to any steam account "CHAOSTHEORY245". Did you link it to another account? If not, try to clear any cache/use incognito mode to link it again.

    That is very odd, try to contact steam support to ask what is happening to your account. If the message still says,"too many login failures from your network" and you have waited 24 hours, then something is very, very fishy.

    Thank you very much, you helped me a lot! I once dropped the game for a month because I accidentally destroyed my commander and let my team down. Then I asked a streamer about the game for this problem and there I was advised to "break a key or fingers"))) I thank everyone that there is a normal community

    The client can't access your mods folder so check antivirus and file permissions

    Just delete the whole log folder, reproduce the error and post everything what was spawned in there.

    Have solved the problem. I have both the DSL and LTE connection active on my Telekom router, the Speedport-Pro. I have now switched off the LTE and it works. Hope I could help someone. To all others, thank you for your help.

    Something is stopping you from reading from the port 57728 check antivirus or check if some other application has that port open.

    If you have a 4k screen or resolution this is a known issue when it is full screen. Try making the window smaller

    Thanks for the response. While this doesn't quite solve the issue I've reduced the intensity by picking a thicker font and setting it to bold. Thank you! By the way, just so you know you can alter ClearType settings in Windows to replicate how it "should" look on BGR (it will look ugly on your display while it's set this way, bear in mind). When you go to "Adjust ClearType text" in Windows and get to the first option for tuning, pick the right hand option. It will look blurry and weird on RGB but that's what displays correctly on BGR. From there you can test whether or not FAF's client is matching the way the rest of Windows is looking. Again, I understand this is a fringe issue, so I don't expect anyone to rush out and solve this.
