The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!

    I see nothing related to AI that could cause an error. Please enable the debugger in FAF settings, reproduce the issue and post the new log. However, I see: warning: SND: XACT3DApply failed. which will cause issues.     @magge OK so....after a lot of testing I think I have narrowed the issue down to 2 mods. "Rings For All" and "UI mod tools" The random freezing while zooming in and out would almost happen many times during an average game (even if it didnt completely freeze and crash) and that effect is nowhere present when those two mods are disabled and zero crashes now or anything for many dozens of games. For my part I have no skills to investigate this further but it does seem like there are a lot of people complaining about mid game crashing so maybe this is related. I am able to use my favorite icon packs again with zero issue, the only bummer for me is not having Rings For All active because that is an amazing mod but build range preview has been working fine so everything is back to normal in FAF world for me. Thanks for steering me in the right direction. If anyone else is crashing mid game and you have either of these 2 mods enabled try disabling them and reassessing.

    @Band228 As a quick workaround you could use a free VPN like Proton. So I'm starting to think, if you read it like that, they jump through the lobbies, collect the IPs (logs / Wireshark) of the players and then DDoS them. And so you have a 12 player match destroyed quite quickly. Players don't change their IPs that often, 24-hour forced disconnection hardly exists anymore, so the IP remains the same for most private connections until the router is restarted. That's not so far-fetched. There was a time when they went through the lobbies and crashed them with a ?bug? (I don't know if they were the same ones). @Brutus5000 Couldn't you force all connections to be established via relay (global) and prevent all P2P connections so that the private IPs don't appear anywhere (as with a VPN)? Might be worth a try.
