    Hi! Since July 16 I can't join or host any game — FA launches, reaches the lobby, then hangs on "Connecting..." forever. The ICE debug window and telemetry stay completely empty: no peers, no gathering, nothing. From my logs the game processes CreateLobby fine and the client receives GameState Idle → Lobby, but after that no JoinGame / HostGame / ConnectToPeer ever arrives, so the ICE adapter is never asked to connect to anyone. My lobby connection itself looks healthy the whole time (join requests get responses, I even got a game_not_ready error back once, and the game list keeps updating live). Last working game: July 15. Same silent behavior on client 2026.1.0 and after updating to 2026.4.1 — ~12 attempts across 6+ different games.

    Вот что еще помогло, снять галочку "только для четения" с папок и файлов внутри папки ФаФ (с самой папки, почему-то не снимается) + запуск клиента фаф от имени администратора! Вышло сообщение (на инглише) жмешь окей и все работает!

    Didn't anyone help you with this? I don't really know how to interpret your logfile. Try launching the game directly, instead of through the FAF client. Does that work? If so, create a new profile and make that active. Sometimes, there can be things written in the profile in the game.prefs file that can prevent the program from starting.

    How do i start a campaign from lobby?

    The campaign missions are started from the "co-op" tab. In the co-op tab, there is a drop-down menu to select from the campaign missions. The missions with a faction logo on them are campaign missions from the original game (before Forged Alliance). There are Forged Alliance campaign missions. There are also "new" campaign missions created for FAF. You can launch a co-op lobby from the co-op tab. Obviously, when you launch the lobby, you're the only human in it. From the lobby, you can edit the game's options (increase or decrease the difficulty, or other options). You can launch the game from the lobby even if you're the only human player. You don't need anyone else in order to play a "co-op" game. You can let people join your lobby, or you can put a password on it to keep them out.

    AccessDeniedException looks like you have your .exe setup to be run as an administrator and the fafclient is not running as an administrator so it doesnt have the permission to start the .exe Try and go into the .exe settings go to compatibility and remove the tick from the "run as administrator" box

    thanks everyone for the replys and the help !!! appreciate the awesome community @Amygdala did check that our but for some reason i cant see any mod there even tho i downloadded it at the FAF client and activated it in UI before starting the game do you need to activate it extra somewhere ? (i will keep making e-storages eheheheheh ) @harzer99 got the latest driver what didnt fix it but the "nvidia container" disablindg did work out ! im running the game with stable 150 fps for now no lags no freezes no whatsoever !!!! thanks tons, game is rly enjoyable now

    To my untrained eye it looks like you are using MANY mods based on the opening - is this the log where you loaded without any UI or sim mods running? If it is, how big in KB/MB is your game.prefs file? I used to have a similar issue that I fixed by purging a bunch of 500 unit templates that were took up literal megabytes of space, and my game became more stable when I purged them.
