Hello, I'm new too (45 ladder match played) and I have the same issue. It's strange as I have a good computer I'm (close to be) always the first in the match page in the game. Then it waits for the last 1 or 2 player to connect and then say that I've caused the matchmaking connection failure. I also have a stable connection normally. What can I check more on my side? It happens every 2 or 3 map I start. I feel sorry for the other one joining and not be able to play because of my problem.

installing FAF in linux is a pain in the ass so i did not want to go down that path but i also figured out why i was getting the error. FAF is installed on my linux drive and so is the game but For some reason if i dont have my external hdd pluged in FAF gives me error 127.

You got that right. But I urge to look on the forums, you'll find a few threads...there may be hope yet.

@MarredTen19 I dont know how much effort you want to put into this but what you could try is to download the windows-iso of your current system and backup from the iso. (watch out to select the option to keep all files and stuff) Pretty sure that will fix it, but its a bit of effort

I just had a similar issue, Turns out the \bin\ and \gamedata\ folders and fa_path.lua in C:/ProgramData\FAForever were placed into C:\ProgramData\FAForever\replaydata instead. Maybe because the first thing I did (after locating the game folder) was try to watch a replay? Moving those (back?) fixed it.

Deinstall and make sure to delete the folder in c:\program files\faf client The program data folder is not the one causing problems.

Previous message can be ignored, user needed a way to share his log folder and did not know any other way.

Something to do with the Key Binds. I disabled Select All Units and Select All Units On Screen in the keybindings and it seems to have fixed it. It seemed to be treating it as if every so often, I was hitting Ctrl-C and or Ctrl-X. Dunno how or why that would be a problem, but this solution seems to have fixed it. I will attempt a full game now and see if it sticks.

Same happened to me, tried to move all my maps and mods from OneDrive to local folders, and then set the directory in FAF. Tells me "Oops. This Directory Isn't Empty" So then I set the directory to empty folders, copy pasted maps and mods in there, but then the directory was reset to the original OneDrive directory

We just released a new game version. You were ejected automatically because your client did not update your game yet. It should do that any moment now.

Please disregard this post, as I was digging through the forum i have figured it out. For ones who have this problem; I had my default browser to FireFox, I swapped to Google to log in, that fixed it.

Me too. I'm in South Korea. Since the 2025.9.1 update, I have been unable to play the game. The client gets stuck on “connecting” indefinitely. I have tried all possible solutions, but the issue persists. I hope this problem will be resolved quickly.
