Sorry for the lack of system info. In hindsight of course that will help with debugging. I reinstalled my motherboard drivers and that seems to have solved the problem I was experiencing. The event viewer gave the following error: "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort1."

You have a connection problem. Your request to the API timed out. Maybe firewall issue.

You could try to log in with a different default browser, e.g. Firefox or Chrome, without any extensions enabled. Also, check your security software if it interferes with the login process.

I partially found the cause. I looked in the client log and found it was reporting corrupt mods. In each of the affected mod folders the mod_info.lua files had been renamed and the initial part of the file name appended with my computer name (so mod_info-COMPUTERNAME.lua). Why I'm not sure. It's only happened in my mods folder and nowhere else on my system. I back stuff up so restored from a backup and it's fine. No indication that it's a virus either so I'm suspecting an issue with backup software, one drive (which also copies my faf mods folder through a hard link) or the client itself. If anyone else has a clue I'd be interested to know.

Thanks for providing all logs! I have taken a look, unfortunately, I can not pinpoint what the root of the issue is. I would guess, it may be related to your network environment, and that would need further debugging on its own.

If the client and the game are affected by the disconnects, then most likely it is related with your network. Maybe a random short interruption of internet by your provider, or random internet hiccup, or if you use WLAN, that is also very prone to having issues.

The worst case: I have heard from at least one other streamer who blamed malicious attackers for making him losing connection to FAF and his game from time to time. I could not approve, nor deny it, and it resolved itself after a few days somehow for now - but it is something to consider. If you have anyone in your family/friend circle who is more advanced with IT-stuff, I would suggest letting that person check your latency/packet drops while you game, so he can narrow down the issue.

When you could reproduce the issue every time when you do "X", it would also be helpful to narrow it down, but I guess it is "random" - which makes it impossible to see any pattern.
