Can't connect to games in the lobby

Greetings
Since about four weeks now, I can't connect to the games my friends create. First the screen goes black for a while, then the connection window pops up, but it remains that way forever.
I've tried every single fix I've found so far, (that whole ICE connection method in the settings, deleting the gamedata folder, reinstalling the game, using different routers, etc.) but nothing worked, so I decided to wait for a patch. Today I downloaded the latest patch and the problem still remains.
I honestly don't know what to try anymore. Please help ;_;

Edit: I can't even create games myself, the problem is the same as with connecting to games from other people.
