This tournament requires you to be part of the FAF Dojo Discord for official communication.

The "Super-Noob Olympics" are our entry-level tournaments. First and foremost, they are meant to be a sparring floor for beginners. Map pools will be appropriate for the skill level e.g. usually avoiding 20x20 and high reclaim maps. As beginners tend to be less familiar even with the "classics", we try to release the map pool somewhat early in order to provide you with some time to practice.
We alternatingly hold entry- and mid-level tournaments on a monthly basis, also alternating between 2v2 and 3v3. Usually, we run our events on the 4th Saturday of the month with 2 PM UTC being the kick-off time.
Current rotation:
Feel free to check out upcoming events and maybe even sign up early: Tournaments.
On said tournaments page, you can also find the hall of fame and all previous results including replay IDs and lineups. If you want to research an opponent who took part in one of our previous events, you surely can.
Do you want to take part in one of our tournaments, but you don't feel ready yet? Join the FAF Dojo Discord, find a trainer (either as an individual or as a group) and put in some hours to gain more confidence in your own competitiveness.

It would be great if you guys would somehow mark the ones in the pool that are going to stay for longer than the current month. this would help with the decision which maps need more attention in training sessions. Something like a specific background color or an asterisk in the pool thread and/or the pool visible on the client.
Might be useful, especially when playing against this rust orange guy who's known for his drops.
@darkstalker69 There's a guide on how to make your own custom selection hotkeys here on the forums. I'm too lazy to retrieve it. You'll find it.
As of now, there are six free agents. Sign up now and find some team mates to join the fun!

It deffo falls back to the unit class if partially covered in fog.
Would be great to have the option to also display progress on t4 units at the time of scouting.
Works like charm. Personally, I dislike the on-screen menu a lot though. Would be great to include it to the regular one, or make it a base game feature right away so you just have it somewhere in the settings / hotkeys.
The first team has signed up, two free agents are already available
@Sheikah Thanks for the clarification. As said before, it's just what I've heard from folks being in charge of the pools, who might not have the best understanding how the architecture looks like.
How much effort would that be? Would it be somewhat feasible?
And I still respectfully disagree this is the way it should be.
Thanks for your response though.
