    Hi! Since July 16 I can't join or host any game — FA launches, reaches the lobby, then hangs on "Connecting..." forever. The ICE debug window and telemetry stay completely empty: no peers, no gathering, nothing. From my logs the game processes CreateLobby fine and the client receives GameState Idle → Lobby, but after that no JoinGame / HostGame / ConnectToPeer ever arrives, so the ICE adapter is never asked to connect to anyone. My lobby connection itself looks healthy the whole time (join requests get responses, I even got a game_not_ready error back once, and the game list keeps updating live). Last working game: July 15. Same silent behavior on client 2026.1.0 and after updating to 2026.4.1 — ~12 attempts across 6+ different games.

    Exactly like at the photo. Happens with little and big explosions. Well, I'm less concerned now then. I thought it could be a malfunction, but at least it isn't hehe. Thanks for the answer, guys

    I am pretty sure if you put game speed to adjustable it used to count when it was working.

    @Foley No you have a different error and I answered in your thread. @AdvancedSpectrum I know this error, but I'm unsure about the cause on your computer. This happens if two different versions of the client mix up after an update was not properly installed. You said you uninstalled and cleaned it. Did you delete the folder C:\Program Files\Downlords Faf Client (or wherever you installed it) after uninstalling? I'm afraid there are leftovers which cause issues. That's the only reason I can think of right now.

    Caused by: java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException: C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\BugSplat.dll For some reason Windows doesn't allow the client to touch this file. Potential reasons: You still have a Forged Alliance process running that blocks the file You started the FAF client with admin permissions once and now only admins may access that file Something fucked up your file permissions. Check for running processes, check windows file permissions on that file.

    Greta. I generelly recommend unintsalling any Third-Party Anti-Virus software and just letting Windows Defender (built into Windows) do its job : )

    @Reckless_Charger, I went to steam supreme commander, created a new profile, then I opened the folder with the appdat profile .... and forbade changing the files with the profile settings. One fight played without a stop.

    because they behave the same otherwise. but if you want to ground fire, you just need to give an attack order on the ground, and you don't need to change the attack mode before that

    solved: after reinstall faf needs started via steam. I had become a Message for Framework update (no idea if this was reason), after this i could join games in faf

    @Artorius are you using the newest client? Are you still using the legacy client? Download newest client from website if you are not sure if you have the newest one...
