We know fatboys are made of cellotape, cardboard and paper mache, but at least give them some decent HP bonus with attaining veterancy.

A fatboy with no veterancy has 12,500 hp
A fatboy with full 5 star veterancy has 18,500 hp.

Wow..

That seems very underwhelming and weak when you compare the full veterancy attained for any other experimental land unit.

I understand it's based on it's base HP, and given the majority of a fatboy's health comes from it's shield, perhaps apply the veterancy to the shield instead of hp, or a combination of the 2?

Since the recent update, or at least very recently, the client is requiring vast amounts of power and CPU for some unknown reason. As a result it's causing the game and the UI to lag very bad.

What's going on?

Maybe the issue is related to the ICE-Adapter high CPU usage bug. In case you or other readers are not following the Discord thread, I will quote the following:

An alpha test client has been released with a rolledback ice-adapter version. the devs would like you guys to try it out, and let us know if the problem does not appear at all with this alpha test version.

This in order to figure out if it is caused by "recent" changes in the ice-adapter or by something else. If it does happen with the alpha test version also then those changes can be ruled out.

Note: you can install this alpha version alongside your normal install, and you can play games with other people running the normal client as well.

I came across this thread in dc yesterday.

Also yesterday I had 2 consecutive client updates, and I'm now using the 2024.5.1 - alpha - 2 version of the client. I will see if I notice any improvements to my situation.

This goes for TMM. It also applies to all 4 of the ladder systems.

The more games you win, the more rating you get, the more rating you get, the higher the probability becomes you will not find a match, the higher the probability of not getting a match becomes, the less games you get to play, the less games you get to play, the less fun you have as a whole.

To conclude, the more you consistently win in the long run, the more detrimental it is to you as a player who wishes to play the game.

I don't think muting them mutes pings, that's only for chat afaik. There should definitely be an option to muting ping though, be it specific players or just all pings from all players. If I hear 3 pings in the space of about 10 seconds, it breaks my focus and is pretty distracting.

actuall uef will roll off front and left, not right. Whereas all other factions do every direction. It should still be fixed. I get like that uef air fac building doesn't appear to have a ramp/waypoint off the fac on it's right, but it could still sure roll off there. Or maybe that arm that builds it could quickly pick it up and drop right side of fac.

Doubt anyone has the time to make that work.

What am I missing? He said they roll off right side too, but that's not true for uef

Because I am fairly certain for UEF, engineers only roll off from the front. Not right or left no matter what you do.
