How the Launcher works is when you put the game into windowed mode it will make it full screen and stretch the game over 2 monitors. You can then either use UI-party or just use the home hotkey to make the game use 2 windows.
@reckless_charger try the Definitive Supreme Commander Launcher https://github.com/ageekhere/Definitive-Supreme-Commander-Launcher/releases/tag/version1.03
@T_R_U_putin You can set in the exe high DPI settings in compatibility, set override high DPI scaling behavior. see if that works
@davaeron Hey, just go to releases and download the Definitive.Supreme.Commander.Launcher.zip and run the exe.

I'll check the other suggestion in the comments.
Yeah let me know if it solves your issue, just make FA run in windowed mode and set your game install location (and FAF install location) in settings in DSCL.
try updating your gpu drivers, this was fixed by nvidia while back.
Would it be worth it for FAF to contact Nordic Games\Squeenix to see what it would cost or to get more information such as do they still have the source code?
When you enable borderless window (even without using any scrips) it prevents the use of the mouse scroll to the edge. Not sure why this happens.
@jip said in 2 year old bug: lose player control when a player dies/leaves:
We could pause the game as a player leaves
I vote for this.
I agree that having a bounty system would not work well and would only create division and hiring a dev for only a short time to work on something the community is already working on would also not work well as by the time they are up to speed of the code base their time would be up. The only thing here that could work is every X amount of months(say 6) a major improvement or feature is identified and under normal conditions this work could not be achieved by the current dev team. This work would have a set budget and terms and conditions.
If no major bit of work is identified that cannot be done with the current dev team then the money can be saved until then.
So in short if you are exploring the idea of hiring a dev the work that they would do would be significant, out of the skill level of the current dev team and the outcome would either lead to better tools for the devs or a big improvement to the game.
@magge You can also tell them to try the Definitive Supreme Commander Launcher where I did all the configurations.

A work around you can do is just select the group of engineers and then tell them to all go build, so if some die on the way it will not affect the others.
I am also seeing other weird issues that were not their before,
- While ACU is upgrading it can happen that you select the ACU but it selects a factory instead, you have to wait for the upgrade to finish before you can select your ACU.
- Units not deselecting correctly on command queuing
And other strange issues when selecting or drag selecting units.
Anyone else seen these issues?
I think the Ythotha is in a good spot, there is probably a better argument that the unit could do with a slight buff rather then a significant nerf.

suggest plane wrecks bounce off the map boundary
The same could be done with planes, that way there is no off mapping.

You don't need to buy a new PC to run FAF it worked fine 10 years ago on a Core2 Duo E8400. That was the top CPU back then, you can but second hand systems from 10 years ago for 200€.
Just don't use the cheap series. Stay away from Atom, Celeron, Pentium, i3 and Athlon and you should be good...?
This is correct
1 Don't have a potato for a PC
2 Don't have failing hardware
3 Don't have a corrupt OS
4 Don't use 2 cans and a piece of string to connect to the internet
