Supreme Commander Remaster !
-
I would sincerely love to see a remaster of Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance, even at full price.
Here are the news items Iād like to highlight:
A developer restored the source code of Modern Warfare 2 using AI agents.
Sanctuary: Shattered Sun is raising $1 million on Kickstarter. This looks optimistic.

Maybe one of you will get fired up by the idea and try to reach out to someone at Square Enix? One of you could lead the development of the remaster.
Why not give it a try? (begging for the game's source code doesn't count as an attempt)Reach out to Jonathan Taylor(@Visionik) ā maybe he can help the project. He saved FAF once before.

ping everyone gogogo

A novel idea that has never been mentioned before. Please ping more developers.

Everyone on FAF should feel ashamed for never thinking about trying to get the source code
-
There have already been several attempts to obtain the source code, but the relevant rights holders have not been willing to provide it to FAF.
You are not the first person to suggest this, and there is certainly no reason for anyone to feel ashamed.
I believe SI-assisted reverse engineering to develop our own engine would be a far more realistic approach nowadays.
