    Okay wow i finally fixed it. The issue with starting the Forged Alliance through steam was a missing ResampleDmo.dll I tried fixing that by installing the Media Feature Pack for Windows 11 (i had a Windows 11 N version that is missing the media stuff), but the installation failed. Then i just got a mate to send me the missing ResampleDmo.dll files from C:\Windows\SysWOW64\RESAMPLEDMO.DLL C:\Windows\System32\RESAMPLEDMO.DLL and placed them in both directories (they are different files). This also fixed the error i got when starting the FAFClient Hope this helps someone else. I will also upload the dll files here. Use at your own risk, but better yet get them from someone you trust. ResampleDmo.zip

    @Jip said in Offline Line Campaign/Skirmish: You need to host at least one (coop) game through the client. That will retrieve the file in question. Then you can play offline again. The game files are not included with the launcher by default. Thanks for the help Jip, I appreciate it.

    Left Alt + Tab will cycle through the windows programs. I tend to do education between games and look at Firefox. Normally, once the game starts it makes FAF full screen.

    Game crashed after ~40 minutes.

    So for anyone that has the same problem as me, it appears that this was caused by a driver issue or a USB plugged in to the monitor. I used the windows driver update to search and found there was 5 drivers that could be updated. I'm pretty good with windows 10 but ive never seen the driver option before. I also removed a USB stick that seemed to load every few hours. I believe that this was a case of bad drivers and having a USB stick plugged in that would cause an error after x amount of time. Fingers crossed, since the driver update and taking the USB out, I havn't had a single crash. Fingers crossed....

    This is how another person fixed it: "Got it fixed - logged out of FAforever website then back in. Logged back into Steam and it's now linked."

    Found the problem: I transfered the My Documents Folder from C drive to a different drive a while ago. If that drive is not connected I get this error.

    Does that file exists? "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\init.lua" If yes, delete it, if not, it might be AV blocking it.

    Unfortunately disconnects while in game are known to cause long delays of logging back in for an unknown reason.

    I have not the same, but simular problem. I can connect to client, can wach replay and can even host, but cant connect to any other player in ther games. There a log http://www.filedropper.com/clientlog2020-11-23 Do not know is it same problem or not, but maybe you shold post log too.
