      Removing core concepts like this is probably in the realm of sim-mods to be realistic, that's my experience with the wishes of the community and balance team. But working with what we have instead of removing, I would be happy with opening up for more "auto-clicking" functions in general. Like in this case ringing extractors automatically.

        You just need to increase the output of the mines and increase the cost of improvement.

        It can’t even theoretically replace current gameplay. Those two things are different and to do not just “increase output of mines”. Mass storage cap have lower return rate but provides more mass storage.

              They do have a purpose - they're easy to snipe. They're simple targets that cost a lot, take a long time to return of investment and they have low health. Good candidates to punish your enemy severely with just a few (tech 1) bombers.

              You also do not have to click that much, there are in-game options to make capping an extractor a side effect of assisting/upgrading it. If you do not want that side effect, you can also use context based templates. In combination with a recent assembly patch by @Ctrl-K the templates even snap to extractor build sites.

                If you want a simpler economy, play Supcom 2. There’s a reason we’re here and not playing that game. Getting rid of mass storages is game breaking. If you want games like this on FAF then that’s a sim mod and not a change to the core game.

                      but there won't be any popularity if you make a game only for these people.

                          Yeah let's remove them, so, you can't raid them or lose due to tmls. Make mass infinite per player making only your skill to decide the game, but random mine loss

                                  Hello.

                                  I propose to remove the factory producer and inclination to consummate the unit.
                                  This is not a secret and everyone does it. Therefore, it does not affect the game at all.
                                  It only forces you to click more and pay attention to useless actions.
                                  There will be no need to write and maintain scripts for consummation. The code will become simpler.

                                  You just need to increase the cost of the units and make engie consummate unit. And that's it.

                                  I hope at least this proposal will pass.

                                    I suggest we all go back to playing Pong, it's much simpler and doesn't confuse the masses.

                                            they also make,- we call them mines now- a more valuable target( like jip explained), even more in a highly dense mine cluster, also destroying storage will remove all the mass in it i think, which can be pretty crucial when you want to pump a t4 trough. its also part of the game tactics, bcs your base gets more complex and you have more to loose. the potential complexity of your main and side bases matter, bcs you need to think about your resource allocation and how much you may invest into defending it. they diversify your mass infrastructure and bring tactical depth to the game. the auto ring for the t2 upgrade is already pretty convenient.
