      We are ๐Ÿ™‚

The client can register itself as the game, bumping the numbers in Steam.

We wonder this too - why specifically such a huge jump in a short amount of time?

That is when the FAF client started allowing people with steam installed on their machine to report their FAF playtime as scfa playtime

@redx said in Who owns the rights to the SC:FA source code?:

Maybe I am not fully aware of the economic forces behind this franchise, but I cannot imagine there being enough of a market to justify remastering this game.

In some ways you are right, the game is really dead and no one plays it. If you look at the graphs, online SC:FA is equal to online SopCom 2. So why will the publisher remaster SC1 or SC:FA? Why doesn't the publisher make a remaster of SupCom 2? The publisher doesnโ€™t care what you personally like, he needs financial indicators.
Why do you need to make a remaster or sequel for SC1:FA? Why not SC2? Maybe more people are playing SC:FA? No, no more, according to Steam charts: https://steamcharts.com/cmp/9420,40100#All

The fact that nomads is mentioned and is not even part of the main game and is not even complete/under active develop so this wasn't the best thing to even bring up. Something like this should really Go though the community manager/promotion team/ associate as this is been asked in the behalf of faf

@veteranashe So at the time it was under active development and much more hyped, so a lot less strange to mention in the email.
