Recalling is quite useful. But what is annoying is when you want to play a game that none of your team does.
Some players lose, or think they lose their position early on and believe there is no chance of coming back or winning. Sure the chance of this may be low, but it's never 0, for many of games that is the case anyway.
I'd like to suggest a change to recall whereby, majority recalls do not end the game, but rather recall those acu's out of the game that don't want to play.
Many a time I play a game where 2 guys want to recall because they give up too easy, or think they've lost their slot or whatever...then it's almost 50/50 as to whether a third person will recall, and if they do the game will be over (if it's a 4v4).
Then it leaves the fourth person with no choice even if they want to play and think they have a chance of winning. Sure democracy is democracy. We are playing a video game man...
Take this as an example.
I mostly play setons, well I used to, not as frequently anymore. It's an average rated lobby of 1500, with a couple 2k+ players on either side. The beach player loses very early, he gives up and recalls. The rock player is being pressured, but hasn't lost, and it's undecided what the outcome will be, but he gives up and recalls. That's 2/4. Air player is against a better player and decides ah fuck this I'm done too, he recalls. Meanwhile mid player is chilling, will likely win, and is the best player on the team. He does not recall, but the game is over without a real chance been had or the game being fully played. That is bullshit.
If I am that mid player, and in this example - a real example - I was the mid player, I would rather play with 4 bases alone and see what happens....you know, play the actual damn game, than have my game decided for me by 3 other people.
So, those 3 recall, their game ends, and their bases get handed over to the guy that didn't recall.
In summary, recall should recall the acu's, not the game.
(Also those that recall, and if the game is lost, those recallers should lose x2 points)
