Why does the client constantly crash?

I'll be sat there in tmm queue waiting for a game, sometimes hours, and I flick through the game tab and chat tab and out of nowhere the client just stops responding.
It happens at least once per hour, so you have to close it and reopen it again for it to function properly for another hour.
Why is this?

Please attach the client.log as a file.
