RE: Why do I keep crashing
You can probably imagine what would happen if you were to paste the entire thing in a forum post. Try uploading the file instead.

RE: Graphical error - the loading screen
something out of whack due to UI scale if I had to guess?

RE: Should I stay or should I Go?
Thanks as always for the very interesting write up.
It seems to me that ice4j is a dead end, but are you actually willing to learn Go?
Even if everyone on the forum (aka roughly 3% of FAF players) agrees that it's the way to go, nobody can force you to learn a new language that you might or might not be interested in.
But it does sound like it might be the solution we (desperately?) need. Or perhaps there is some other option?
As an aside, your title made me really worried for a hot minute!!

RE: Friday Night Giant Robot Battle: Beer league recurring group interested in adding a couple bodies
For what it's worth, YOU sound like an awesome group of people, but I'm not American and your Friday Night is my Saturday (early, early) morning!
I hope at least you haven't regretted this like you regret posting on Facebook Marketplace!Edit: I do apologize if this post got your hopes up, in hindsight maybe I shouldn't have.

RE: New forum ui once again fucked up the design
I made a quick test using the default (no skin) theme:
Read and unread topics have different colors. Any other theme:
All topics appear in the same color.

RE: New forum ui once again fucked up the design
Have you tried changing the forum theme?

RE: Unable to start Supcom / FAF on Lenovo Legion Go
The one piece of advice I can give you is to try to mark game.prefs as read-only; that might prevent the game from editing the file.
Hopefully, there will be someone who can help you more!

RE: Game randomly freezes in coop
Your logs won't be helpful then, the one from his side would be needed.
In the meantime, I suspect he is suffering from XACT errors, so please have a look at the relevant FAQ.

RE: Unit labels
Happy Holidays to you as well, I'm fairly certain that AA stands for Anti Air.

RE: Add high unit cap lobby options
You ever tried ordering a thousand units to move somewhere? They stop and start thinking, may take them several seconds before they start moving again. With 9k units it may take half a minute.
At some points all units on the map (yes, even ACU) become unresponsive and just sit there, ignoring all orders. This happens frequently in campaign maps.
I'm afraid it's an engine limitation.

I like how you added a gif to your report!

No, it only repairs the shield while it is up-once it's depleted, you are wasting your bp as it does nothing.
It's related to question 1: the smaller the shield, the cheaper/faster it is to keep it up, but you risk a big shot taking it down before you can even start repairs or that it gets destroyed directly. Cybrans have both the cheapest and most expensive shields, which are generally considered the worst at arty wars if that's what you are asking-Seraphim's ones are instead arguably the best. Still, the ability to sequentially upgrade shields can be useful as it's a quick way to get a shield back up-Aeon used to have t2 shields that couldn't be upgraded (unless my memory fails me) b̶u̶t̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ w̶a̶s̶ p̶a̶t̶c̶h̶e̶d̶ a̶s̶ a̶ b̶a̶l̶a̶n̶c̶e̶ d̶e̶c̶i̶s̶i̶o̶n̶.

RE: Engies Clean/Reclaim Mod
If it's for personal/offline use, wouldn't modding storages to hold a trillion mass effectively solve the issue?

All things considered, if you are going to the trouble of copying text, alt-tabbing, and pasting text into a google translate page, you might find it more convenient just to use a mobile device to translate the text directly.
No, because many don't know and can't type russian characters
I don't follow. You can already type text into gtrans and then paste it into the game if you need to communicate in a different language.
On mobile it takes text directly from the camera and either shows an on-screen translation or you can take a photo (give it a try if you have never used it-it's pretty neat).

RE: Why do so many things have friendly fire disabled?
Why wouldn't alien space magic be able to differentiate between friendlies and hostiles?
