Game randomly freezes in coop

Me and a friend are playing the campaign on coop and on occasion his game will randomly freeze up and we will be unable to continue without restarting the game. Sometimes we get through entire missions others he freezes up randomly and the game seems to freeze for a few seconds when a character comes up and starts talking. Would love some kind of way that we could fix it if anyone may know how.

Hopefully I am sending this right, this is the log from my end of the game, his is the one freezeing so I don't know if that makes a difference. If it does I can have him send his log as well just to be sure.

Your logs won't be helpful then, the one from his side would be needed.

In the meantime, I suspect he is suffering from XACT errors, so please have a look at the relevant FAQ.

Most likely related to this:

warning: SofDec error: 1060102: Internal Error: adxm_goto_mwidle_border

I have seen this error pop up quite often recently, have at least ~3 cases in Discord (link to tech-forum thread).

@MostLostNoob and I tried all the basic things to fix it, but the issue stays persistent.

Can it be that a recent patch has anything to do with it @BlackYps; any idea how to tackle that issue? Have never seen that error before.

@ReApSneakyRG If you have any overlay or screen recorder software running, try to narrow down the issue by closing/disabling it. Maybe it is related to the crash, if so, give me a ping.

A temporary "fix" could be to go with the '/nomovie' command:

"%s" /nomovie

To quote @Jip "... It makes the coop experience less immersive, but so does a crash"
