      Add a button close to where player "x" which sends them a notification asking them to "x" when they are not ready (instead of having to go on the desktop, to tell them to x).

      Just in case this proposition hasn't be seen. I think it would be very usefull to wake afk up easily!

      The notification could be a message in the chat, or could make "blink" the game icon like when the game appears to be full!

        Make FAF chat include history of chat

        sometimes... I miss messages and would like to open the chat with the players and see the history .. would be nice to switch it into and inbox system

          @jip here is my wishlist of small changes!

          1 - Change the sound of the SCU exploding to anything other than the sound an ACU explosion makes... this feels minor to me. This has been a thing causing both casters and player heart attacks for years. SCUs exploding and tricking us into thinking a com just died or a nuke landed is kinda annoying imo.

          2- Adding a UI element to replays that shows more player stats (APM, Resources lost, idle engies.) would help casters a ton. I'm actually unsure how minor to major this is but gonna propose the idea.

          3- Firebeetles should have both cloak and stealth. They feel so much more jank to use since the changes and adding stealth would allow us to use them at least a little more since you will need omni to see them.

          4- Add some sort of reward for playing ladder (any of them) my suggestion is some kind of cosmetic Ego inflating thing that shows up by your name in custom lobbies for achieving higher ratings in ladder.

          5- Integrate Nomads into base FAF mod. 😄 this change is totally a small one. /s

              • when you are overflowing mass or energy a background sound plays... one that makes sense and gives the impression of a leakage.. it should be distinct audios one for mass and one for energy .it should be an option in audio that plays can voice to turn on or off

              • list itemWhen an engineer is on an attack move or patrol to do reclaim. make engineer automatically choose the highest mass amount item within build range.

                    If it impacts game balance people should be making posts on the balance forums rather than petitioning Jip as the OP says.

                      One thing against offmapping that could be cool to test, add the shield bounce mechanic for map borders? 🙂
                      Not sure how "small" of a thing this is, figured could just copy paste some of the shield code and define it for map borders?
                      E: This is partly balance too, but would require testing anyway I guess.

                        How would you imagine this working? An aircraft leaves map boundary and is bounced back inside?

                          Then you can do some sick bomber trickshots by bouncing them off the map border and make youtube montages.

                            Yes pretty much as two last messages thought about it 🙂
                            Border acts as an invisible shield with the bounce function, if abused can do something like each bounce results in 20% dmg of unit max health.

                              We could make an algorithm of slowing down aircraft as they approach the edge. Also, why can't you mare walls close to the edge?

                                It would be helpfull to have Information in game creation menu if choosed map is ranked or not.

                                Also if full share is on.

                                      Imho it would be cool to be able to name the templates we create, as sometimes they get the same icon for different builds...

                                        Would it be possible to allow users to put custom image files into some folder, and then let the users choose from those custom images for their templates?

                                        So instead of having a picture of one of the buildings, you can have any arbitrary picture?

                                          A lobby option allowing premade teams to play together in an opti lobby would be great!

                                          Example: Two people want to play together in a custom 4v4 with opti enabled. The host enables this new "opti with premades" option, and then puts those two players on the same "opti team". The opti algorithm then takes this into account and tries to find the most balanced teams, with the condition of those two players always ending up on the same one.

                                          UI wise you could even use the already existing "Team" selection interface, as it's literally useless in opti lobbies.

                                          I'm not sure how small of a suggestion this actually is (I guess a similar algorithm already exists for tmm?) but if implemented it would certainly find some use.
