Test CPU
-
God, why are you so stupid? I wrote it, nothing helps, I pressed this button a million times
-
Says nothing helps without explaining anything or telling what you have done. In 99% of the cases its a user issue thats why you got that answer.
Your response can be viable if you explained what "everything" means to you. Have you tried resetting your windows? I doubt it, so its clearly not everything. If you did actually try "everything" then why are you asking here. Clearly everything was tried so there is no possible way to help

You can modify the CPUBenchmark value in your game.prefs file (top left menu in the client has a link to the prefs file).

@Nomander People always threaten to ban me when I mention that
-
@Nomander this helped, in the lobby it shows a new value, however after pressing the button ,,test cpu,, the value returns to 300+
-
Then it is time to spit out the specifics of your build, whether or not you have done any form of overclocking, and perhaps it'll turn out that the 300+ value is correct.
@Nomander by god delete your post you should know why that information shouldn't be spread.

Yeah, even though this helped, it was my understanding that it is now in fact illegal to modify your data since the "leak" of changing your clan tag and so on..

I have an i7 processor, rtx 4060 video, 32gb RAM. I'm asking for help because now test cpu shows data from the old computer, I pressed the test button in the lobby, reinstalled faf, rebooted, it's useless, and although manually fixing the file helps, pressing the test button again returns the previous result of 300+, the only option everyone offers me is to create a new account
-
I'll try again, WHAT "i7 processor"? One from 2009? RAM: speed, clock, timings?? OC?? Why do you think making a new account would help?? Who is everyone?!
-
Who told you to create a new account? How does creating a new account influence your CPU score? I don't understand why the CPU test score is so important for you. You can modify the value in the game prefs file and that's it. CPU score doesn't do anything in game, lobby or client.
If it shows data from the old computer then you probably just copied your game prefs or some other data. Just change it manually and forget.
-
@Campana Heads up: creating a new account will result in the new account being permbanned and your main account getting its own penalty. Nobody should be telling you to create a new account.
The correct solution is to run the CPU check with the button Magge told you to press. If that results in a score of 300, then your CPU score is 300.

CPU Score is important if its too high. As he said, people will kick you for that because not everyone asks for an explanation.
This guy cant be helped until he finally figures out we need his actual CPU info and not just "i7"
