I already do challenges on my main account occasionally, not as extreme as engineer only, but its probably frustrating anyway for a new player to play a handicapped pro for the pro's enjoyment. I think this idea should be limited to 0 to x series

Alternatively, allow everyone to create a second account that is linked to your main account somehow. Like how you can see previous names of a player, you can see other accounts. That way everyone can participate in challenges or whatever. Not just a select few content creators.
We do not believe this is an option. Challenge accounts will always affect normal games, because they must use very unconventional playstyles. Allowing a limitless number of these accounts. with challenges that haven't been vetted for how disruptive they are, will only lead to chaos.
One of the core parts of this proposal that we want feedback on is how to allow something like this while minimally disrupting normal gameplay. Allowing only a few of these accounts at a time, with vetted challenges and on new accounts so that their rating actually reflects the strength of that account are a few ways we think we may achieve that. Creating a new account is essential to make that work.
