ReUI

I tried this out, only change being adding this mod to my install. Tried to start a multiplayer game with someone who did not have the mods and got an immediate desync on starting multiple times in a row until I uninstalled it, just disabling the mods didn't fix it. Is this a known issue? Does each person have to download the mode first (the FAF client used to sync mods to others when they joined)?

This is a UI mod. That means its only client side, so it is possible for only one person to have it.
Do you have any non-ui mods active? The first thing @ctrl-k will ask for is the game log if you want him to check out this problem -
@Praxitele You must have done something else, this is a UI mod and won't cause deysncs (tested it myself over multiple games).

Tried again and still got desync immediately. If I look at exiting UI modes, only ReUI modes are shown.

game_26355246.logSo as seen from the logs AND replay you are using mods and not just the ui mods... Maybe you only have those UI mods sure, but they are not causing the problem. It is the SIM mods that are causing your problem

@Nuggets They do not cause any issues if I do not have the UI mods installed, so they may be the issue, but there is no issue without the new UI mods.
-
@ctrl-k once again your mods are not compatible!!
-
I do not want to dig into sim mods' problems. I just have no clue how this can be possible.
-
@Praxitele Desync at beat 1 happens quite often in sim-modded games and usually doesn't cause any desyncs later on. I think that's because the beat 1 desync is a check for the game loading process, while any future checks are actually checking the sim state. It's interesting that you figured out that UI mods are affecting it.
-
Oh, yes, as Nomander basically said... you can ignore the desync message if it only happens once. A game is only "actually" desynced if the message pops up again and again

With ReUI score enabled, I cannot observe games after I die. Clicking on players' names doesn't do anything and I can't see anything. This also happened on a fresh install of the game where the only mods enabled were the ReUI mods. Disabling ReUI score enables me to observe as intended.

I tried to download the mods in the FAF Vault but none of them seem to be working?

You need ReUI as a dependancy and then whatever else you want enabled

With the ReUI.Construction mod enabled, when you open a hive, hive upgrades are stored in the storage area, not in the building. You can see this in the screenshots. -
thanks for all the work! mods make the game what it is!

Thanks for your work.
REUI Reclaim is godsend at being able to spot reclaim in reclaim mode on a small monitor, but it seems to filter out any chunks of mass <10 which means it can really mess up the perception of the amount reclaim on a map.I tried hacking at the code a bit to change it, but it looks like this it may happening when the reclaimComponent is being passed to the Reclaim part of the mod so I couldn't find a way to change it myself. (I could be wrong about this though)
Even if there's no update to add that as a setting I'm happy to just edit it myself if I knew where to look.

<10 mass props do not get sent from sim to UI, that's why they aren't shown.

@Nomander Hmmm. that lines up with what I was struggling with, however the unmodded cntrl_shift doesnt seem to have this issue? Or is my memory playing tricks on me?
