      Hey everyone, DATA_EXPUNGED here!

I'm looking to play my first games on FAF, but I'm definitely not ready for any online matchmaking. I'm all about trial by fire, but I'd like a few games against AI to learn my keybinds, practice basic economy management, learn the units, etc. I'm not entirely sure how to set up a game/lobby against A.I. Additionally, any advice on what I should practice would be great! I've watched a few of TheGreenSquire's videos and read some beginner guides on the forums, so I'm not going in completely blind either.

The following page on the wiki has details on how to set up a game/lobby against custom AI:
          https://wiki.faforever.com/en/Development/AI/Custom-AIs#enabling-ai-mods

Although if you're just starting out then I'd stick with the default AI initially and move onto custom AI once you want more of a challenge from it

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I was considering joining Discord in the hopes of running a 2v2 or even a 1v1 with some coaching, so I can get into the headspace quicker. Is this something I could find there?

The training team would love to help you, as would the dojo! Find both links on the wiki

@DATA_EXPUNGED Oh definitely just join the discord. Plenty of people that are happy to give you some coaching or review your games.

I learn RTS games by losing and analyzing the replay right after.

As Strydxr already stated, the Dojo might be for you. You can find some information here on the forums as well.
If you can make EU evening hours for training, feel free to DM me. I'm running a training group for beginners, up to roughly 1k rating.
