UEF ACU has lost IQ
-
You put it on patrol, it sees an enemy really close to it's firing radius, and... it walks the other way! Same if you try ordering to attack. Seen this many times now.
-
I would provide a replay, but it's just basically any game.

Then it shouldnt be a problem to provide some examples

honestly fax

OK, here is the test replay: https://replay.faforever.com/26182408. Only UEF and Sera ACUs are being idiots. Maybe it has something to do with you guys recently tweaking TML min upgrade range?
-
I sometimes see similar behavior with gunships, but I am not sure how to replicate this, apart from: coop Black Day, a lot of gunships (remember this for both Aeon gunships (T3 with the no-restrictions mod) targeting enemy coms or experimentals.
-
Anybody taking care of this? UEF and Sera are unplayable on small maps. These idiots walk in circles!
-
Well the problem is that we currently have no way to force the 4 factions to do an IQ test. So we dont know the exact amount of IQ lost
-
@Nuggets I provided a replay. It's recent, only UEF and Sera ACUs are affected, not Sera SACU. Devs increased minimal range for tactical upgrades recently. What else can it be? Tested without any mods.
-
I can confirm the error. The ACU attack automatically upon sighting the enemy. But as soon as a direct attack order is given, the ACUs of the UEF and the Sera run around in circles like crazy.
-
No error is displayed in the logs.

I have the exact same issue. Driving me insane. UEF and Seraphim ACUs retreat to tactical missile range and do circles when told to attack an enemy.
-
I have provided an explanation of what is the same issue, along with a replay of it affecting me as well, here: https://forum.faforever.com/topic/9851/bug-commander-runs-away-from-target-moves-to-tactical-missile-range?_=1769652799105
