Using a Logitech headset with Supreme Commander
-
As I would like to be able to talk with C-master during games I bought a wireless headset.
Logitech G533
It's not working fine with SupCom, probably due to the surround sound limitation of the game Tatsu explained in the FAQ.
https://forum.faforever.com/topic/796/i-can-t-hear-some-of-the-audio-or-other-sound-issue-what-should-i-do/3However I can't set the thing to stereo:
Also in the Logitech program surround sound is off:
Did anyone else manage to get the headset work with FAF?

Turn off DTS in the logitech driver settings, then you should be able to use stereo.

On the screenshot it looks like DTS is turned on, but it's off.
This is what it looks like when it's on: -
So for My Pro X Logitech Head Phone Min is off in GHub
and in sound setting, this is what I have mine set too

May not be relevant. Had a similar issue with steel series that did this even with surround disabled. Only thing that worked was installing equalizer apo and configuring as SFX/efx in configurator for the headset, then it finally would stop messing up in supcom. Other games i could still set a profile to switch to surround. There is also a nice gui equalizer called peace that can be installed to control the equalizer apo.
