      Hello everyone!
I’m a newbie and trying to understand how the connection discount works. For example, what’s the difference in discount between T1, T2, and T3 generators, and between T2 and T3 mass fabs? Also, for example, if I have my SACU Gate connected to a T3 Mass Fab (4 times), and I have some % discount on mass cost - does that mean that I need to spend less mass, and with the same build power, will I finish producing of an expensive unit faster?

P.S. Also a question about arty fire speed: T1, T2, and T3 generators give a speed boost - what are the actual values?

      Thanks in advance!

P.P.S. Sorry if there was a similar discussion before. I didn’t find anything useful with real values except a 2021 discussion of percival strategy xD

Here's the full list of bonuses

You will spend less mass but the build time is unaffected. A factory which usually would draw 4 mass/s with a 25% mass discount will instead draw 3 mass/s building the same unit.

Also note that these discounts are for the factory build power only. Any engineers assisting the factory will not receive any benefits.

Then if I got it right - discount only affects the factory's own build power, while assisting engineers still pay full price. That means the more engineers you pile on, the smaller the relative saving. In heavily assisted production, the benefit becomes marginal but for unassisted setups like air grids, it's a huge deal.
          Got it, thank you!
