Visual bug Red and black diagonal stripes when zoomed in

Hi guys, started guying some weird visual bug on map gen maps, but only on, and after my second play of the map, its like it becomes corrupted in the first play.

It can be relieved by setting a particular graphic setting to it lowest grade, but I dont really see that as a solution, im mainly looking for a cause and fix.
I've iterated through many Nvidia graphics drivers during the course of having this bug.

Have you forgotten to attach the image? I cant see any.

Does the issue happen for all random generated maps?

Also, attach a game log where the "corruption" occurred, please.

If you get a black and red diagonally striped pattern, then that indicates a missing texture. If it worked the first few times you play the game, I really don't know why it shouldn't for replays though. Mapgens only take default FAF textures anyway, so you should have them on file.

Map gens do generate a few custom textures/decals that are placed in the env folder so it could be something with permissions and these extra files

@Sheikah I was totally unaware of this, but now that I think of it it's likely to be the map-wides huh? That sounds like it would be the ones that are missing then.

i'm back from May 2025. it's great that many coop maps are playable. on the other hands, all new maps downloaded this time are striped, or so called missing texture. is there a way that i can find which texture is missing and how i can fix it w/o waiting for a patch? thanks.

@speed2 thanks. that fixed the problem. however, i'm experiencing UEF t3 mass fab not working problem. i'm still trying to narrow down the cause.
