Yes. Maybe the "Selection fix" mod can fix it, otherwise you need to disable all mods and find out which one is causing the issue:

When a unit dies, the selection updates, which might trigger a selection deprioritizer mod.

I have figured it out: it's the Engineer Alt Selection mod. It happens when you are trying to SHIFT-order and one of the selected units dies.
