stealth bug?

there is a bug in cybran stealth upgrade. torpedo bomber can continiusly attacking acu after it exsit vision range.enemy do not have omny or anny other intel.. stealth do not hide.

I think its known behavior and not really considered a bug. For example you could target transport with inties and they will follow even through fog of war. Same story with literally every unit in the game. If you issued attack command to unit then your units will attack it no matter what.
Also iirc depth charges give underwater vision. At least for aeon torpbomber (and could we please change translation of "depth charges" in russian ui from "смертельный разряд" to something more meaningful like "глубинные бомбы" or something? Its really stupid.)

Skill issue

So, this is a bug but it is not one that we can fix easily.

this "bug" has been there since FA release and never been considered as a bug.
without this "bug" bombers might lose their target as they try to go on the second pass
even worse with inties as they have no radar.

This bug however was not present in SC vanilla, i think it was intentionally added as a quality of life

afaik you can assist enemy unit (e.g. commander) with air scout and it will follow it everywhere even if it goes underwater or cloaks or teleports or goes up from underwater.

afaik you can escape tracking by loading tracked unit into the transport, tracking will also get lost when building gets upgraided.

FA also keeps buildings icons even after you lost vision or radar, and if building dies (or gets upgraided) icon goes dark and that also gives free intel

@jip Is it not possible to check like every second, if a units target is still in vision/radar and if not reset the target? Since you will always see buildings you could make this only loose targeting on mobile units. But i don't know if this information is easily available.

Yes, the aeon torpedo bomber does get a very small underwater vision from its depth charges, but none of the other torpedo bombers do. I have actually made use of this before.

just want to point out that vision radius is not very small it is almost the size of sera t1 air scout after-death vision radius i would say...

you can groundfire with aeon torp bombers to reveal stealthed underwater stuff
