Yeah, that's really strange. Yesterday, I had this update screen after I hosted a new game. Right after that, all settings were reset to default.
I just noticed that I have a game.pref BAD file and a TEMP file from yesterday next to the actual pref file. So, I just copied everything from the temp file into the pref file, and now everything is back to normal. I can also rotate the templates with the mouse again, even though the option isn't in the settings. ... I don't really get it all
it was not the client. it was a hotfix for the game.
I also had to notice that I only have very few options in the game settings. Normally, the list is longer. For example, I miss the option to rotate building templates with the mouse's middle wheel.

after the Update yesterday all my settings r gone. mods, keybindinds, templates... everything. i dont understnad why and how i can restore them.
i tried it for a couple of minuts till i didnt find a way to select naval over everything like it was in the the old mod.

i tryed to enable it with a hotkey but it changes nothing. there isnt even an info if it is enable or not. but i pressed it annyway but no luck. i gave also the domains a key and tryed every possible combination.
It dont work properly. It still selects ground units with airunits.
is ther maybe also a working version somewhere witch is not avaible in the voault ?

my PC chrashed completly and i have to reinstall everything.Right now i am reinstalling the mods. And i wonder why i dont have the third colum with naval targets like destroyers, cruiser and so on. I just have two colums. any ideas ?

You're right, I'm sorry. I underestimated how important you are. It's far more noble to attack one of the few people keeping this thing alive so you have a game to play at all. Keeping FAF running is easy, playing Gap all day is the true challenge.

if only you knew the context and frame in which u actually said that, you would quickly delete the post. All of this is based on the idea of making an old game available online again, nothing else. This is not an admin competition, not a programming competition, or anything like that. It's really just about being able to play the game. and mostly its not anymore.
