Possible to pull players’ APM from replays?
-
As the title says. I’d be curious to look at a replay and see how everyone’s APM compared. Are there existing tools like this?

I know it's been done before, but not by whom or how. (So my answer is pretty much useless, sorry).
Try looking through the discord message history?

@Kazbek Has done it
His tool stopped working due to the API restrictions that were added to help protect against DDOS.

However you need to remember that numbers are pulled from the amount of commands that player makes. So afaik shift+clicking units in factory will give 5 commands
dragging a 100 power generator line - 100 commands. Selecting 10 factories and queuing 5 units in each with a single click will count like 50 commands.But also it does not count any clicks or pressed that don't do commands (because they are not written into a replay)
Selecting something will not count towards commands at all
pressing hotkeys to move around the map will not count towards commands too
clicking multiple buttons to do one command will still count toward only one commandEdit: Also, afaik this tool no longer works with replay IDs
you need to download the file and show the file to the website, can't just enter the ID -

Thanks! I’ll give it a try.
