      Overview:
      Hello everyone and welcome to this years Legend of the Stars championship.

      This year will feature a slightly different format.

      We have previously had many issues with invitations as such this year we are not doing them. Also due to little change in points as no invitational tournaments were held.

      As such this year we will have 2 qualifiers with 4 players qualifying each.
      Into a 8 man elimination stage, down to 4 then 2 then 1.

      Legend of the Stars Open Qualifier 2: December 7th
      8 Man Playoff Stage: December 14th
      Finals Stage: December 15th

      You must play all of your matches to be eligible for the prizes you cannot resign after 1 game.
      Exceptions being at decision of the organiser.

      Legend of the Stars Open Qualifier 1:

      This is a 1v1 Double Elimination bracket with BO3 games in the winners bracket and BO1 games in the losers bracket. The bracket will be seeded based on ladder rating.

      This tournament is only open to players with a minimum of 1000 1v1 Rating.

      There is no maximum number of players. The number of BO1s vs BO3s in the winners bracket will be adjusted to ensure a timely tournament.

        The bad: there hasn't been 1 official 1x1 tournament from faf in a year.
        Good: the tournament team came up with a good new format in the current realities

                  There aren't any invites this year. You have to qualify through the qualifiers.
