General Information
It's been a while since we've had a Blitz tournament and it seems like I have another Saturday free to host!
We will also be using the FAF Tournaments website made by @nuggets. Here you'll be able to find the bracket, teams, vetos, mappool, and any other important information.

Tournament Director: hybrid_Due to chat bugs and network issues, all official communication on the days of the tournament will be via discord in the appropriate text channel in the #tournaments section. If you cannot communicate through discord then the FAF Client will be used as next best option. Veto's will be held on the website which you can find here.

Rules
The official FAF Tournament Rules apply.
Some of the most important of these rules are:- Disconnects within 5 minutes may result in a rehost. The Tournament Director has the last say afterwards.
- Players will replay the same map if they draw.
- If the incorrect map is hosted, the correct map will be hosted and the incorrect map will not count towards the score
- Players who do not appear without valid reasoning will be given a warning that may result in being temporarily suspended from tournaments.
- If a player does not show up in Round 1, they may be replaced. For all subsequent rounds, it will be treated as a forfeit and they will be eliminated and not replaced.
- All participants will be allowed a 15-minute wait at the start of a tournament to show up however after this 15 minute wait the Tournament Direct has the right to disqualify you from the tournament. In the case where you will be late but do intend to arrive you need to message the Tournament Director preferably via Discord to inform them you will be late but will show up. When doing this please provide an approximate time delay until you arrive, it will then be the Tournament Directors decision whether than delay is too long or acceptable. If your team loses a member, you may find a substitution within the rank requirements.
- The Tournament Director's decision is final.

For this tournament we will be using the FAF Tournaments website as said before, so to sign up you will need to go to this link and login with your FAF credentials.

At first you sign up as a solo, and then you and your teammate will be able to form a team on the website. If you have any issues with this, I can form the team for you once you sign up via the website.

My favorite blitz tournaments and my favorite 2x2 format! The tournament team knows how to make pleasant surprises! And it's such a pity that I won't be able to play that day... But I'll be happy to watch the stream recording as soon as I get home.

Yep, thats why the map pool hasnt been revealed 2 hours before launch yet, its because the TD has to find a way to make that announcement without being too embarrassed by it

It's really cool that 40 people and 20 teams gathered in just a couple of days! Thanks to the organizers of the tournament! I hope after such success we will have more blitz tournaments!
