How or where can I find info what a mod found in FAF client actually does?
Many do not have a description. Or just a single non-informative sentence. -
You can open the mod's files and read its lua code.

Generally I'd say if the author didnt add a description it probably wasnt meant to be "public" but just something to be used by his friends. So if there is no description then there is nothing to read about and you can only do what Nomander said
