rule for furtivity

what is the rule for furtivity ? once unit have fired, they can be seen by radar ?

or never ? (furtivity activate by mobile furtivity unit)

scout and t1 unit can activate furtivity also, is it an "invisible" thing ? or the same "radar" furtivity ?

Selen (seraphim t1 scout-lab) is the only unit in the game that can't shoot or move while being cloaked(and stealthed) at the same time. All other units are visibile or invisible regardless of them moving or shooting.
Supcom has radar stealth that protects from radar.
Sonar stealth that protects from sonar.
and cloaking that protects from visual radius.

Thanks a lot vert interesting video. But I don't hear about unit that are firing when under a furtivity field ?
Can they be seen by radar after firing ?

Firing guns from a stealth field does not disrupt the stealth field. The other player can know that he's being shot at, so he can figure out that there are units, but stealth continues to protect them from showing up on radar.

@arma473 thanks a lot.

Are they some firing unit that are cloaking even when firing ? In the video it seems that there is a commander that can do that. Other unit ?

Support commander with double cloak.
Fire beetle is permanently cloaked.
many units in mods can be cloaked and can even see cloak field in mods and all units under that field will be cloaked even if they are firing

Thanks a lot.

By curiosity, I don't see a lot of cybran players using fire beetle. Whereas in article I have feeling that it could be powerful. Maybe it is no more the case with last faf updates ?

it's quite bad yes,their damage is just too bad in order for them to get a proper real-game usage,i recall using them to kill some t2/t3 pgens in the past and maybe some meme snipes but that's about it,usually ordinary t2 units are just way more cost efficient
