1v1 MapGen Tournament

@Sheikah #aeolus or something different?

#MapGenTourney as in the main post

As a notice signups will close 30 minutes before the tournament is scheduled to start in order for the brackets to be finalized. Players should plan on being online and in the IRC channel #MapGenTourney at least 15 minutes before the start of the tournament in order to account for any no shows and adjust the brackets accordingly.

Additionally Players should verify that they can generate maps without issue. If you have an issue contact me and we can work to resolve it before the start of the tournament.

Can the winner of the bracket 1 also get a lesson with Tagada?

I'll play, 2308

What if Tagada wins?

Sadly I won't be able to play today, and yes winner of top bracket can get a lesson from me too but I doubt he will want to take me up on it.

@archsimkat We get to watch Tagada train himself in a video montage.

Sign-ups are now closed

i will not be there in time, sign me out

Thanks for this amazing tourney, @Sheikah ! I'd be very willing to play something like this again.

It's unbelievable to bear witness to how far the map generator has come, none of the maps in the tourney were objectively bad.

One that I played, I though had a truly genius layout that could make all the different sorts of playstyles and scenarios of supcom happen, And another was gorgeous with really well fitting textures.

Not knowing (or at least partly, we do have map preview) what we'll be thrown into is a real challenge that I find incredibly interesting to play.
