Old replay 2020

Good afternoon, everyone. In fact, I really need to watch an old replay, which is the last game I played with my friend. It's from 2020, and when I try to launch it in the client, the game starts (not faf, but the original one).

Is there any way I can watch it?

try disabling all your UI mods. if that doesn't work, open the local replay file (and keep ui mods disabled)

next step is to try to temporarely remove mods from the mod folder. Unfortunately having mods in the mod folder already affects the game somehow.
i know for a fact that you need to do that for the 2007-2011 replays.

I have a freshly installed FaF (I haven't played for a long time, and I installed it specifically to try to view a replay). I haven't installed any mods or anything else.

I think due to exe changes game thinks that old replays cannot me played, so, it just skips them.

In my experience the client downloads the correct exe version when watching an old replay, although that may not work for very old replays.
