You will need to win more than 1 game to get the planet, exact numbers are not set yet. But after you get it, there probably won't be any lock on that planet. But those are details we'll figure out later it's working.

None of the reasons for why one would choose to stay on lower ranks are not implemented yet.

There is a plan for the first test run of GW, most likely this weekend if it goes well. Requirements are Windows machine, IPv6 connection, and the ability to to follow simple instructions.

1v1 mostly worked, showed some bugs and what not. Team games this weekend mostly did not work
But it was more about connections with the new ice adapter rather than the GW code. But still more bugs to solve. @FunkOff join the discord to track the updates and help with the testing! -

Is it possible to make mechanics so that if a faction has less than 15 planets left, then points for ordering reinforcements accumulate faster?

I think it would be interesting to have starting scenarios. The Supreme Commander Campaign starts with a fairly aggressive opener: The Aeon breaks out of the UEF's quarantine zone and is so effective in their initial assault that they will defeat the UEF within 33 days. UEF's president is in ignorance and or denial of the tactical reality and tries to continue the war as normal. Cybran exploits UEF's weakness to try and rescue slaves and break through to Earth in other to interrupt UEF's ultimate weapon: Black Sun.
As a traditionalist, I love this scenario. I have spent quite a lot of time imagining Aeon's break-out from the quarantine zone, even though this was never rendered in Supreme Commander.
That said, I was able to come up with several dozen other really interesting starting scenarios... that would make GW more interesting than a static 1000-year infinite war. If youd like to hear them

Sounds great as a story, but bad as a multiplayer setting. It basically means that aeon at first can only fight uef.. if other scanrios include some "not fair" split of the galaxy its just bad from a balance standpoint
