Tournament Format:
The tournament is for 16 participants and will have 2 stages.
The first stage is the group stage. 4 groups of 4 players play on the basis of the principle ‘each with each other’ in BO3 format/
Second stage is play-off for 8 participants (1st and 2nd place of each group). 1/4 stage - games in BO3 format. Semi-final - games in BO5 format. Final in BO7 format, match for third place - BO5.

• The 4 highest ranked players will choose their opponents in a ‘snake’ format to be divided into groups
• In case of a score equality in the group, the player who wins in a personal meeting will have the advantage. If 3 players have equal points, a tie-break will be played between them (1 game each against each other).
• Veto factions will be applied only from the semi-final stage. On the principle: everyone can ban 1 faction to his opponent.
• Map veto will be applied from the playoff stage onwards (see Map List for details).
• Late for 15 minutes or more - disqualification.
• Draw = rematch on the same map
• Disconnect during the first 3 minutes of the game - re-match, disconnect after 3 minutes of the game at the discretion of the tournament director.

Playoffs.
Map Veto Rules:

• Faction veto will apply throughout the playoff stage
• Each player has the option to veto 1 map at Round 1 (see Challonge); 2 maps at the Semi-final stage; 3 maps at the Final and 3rd Place Match stages.
• Players take turns banning maps
• The player with the higher 1x1 rating bans the card first, followed by the player with the lower rating.
• Then the players throw /roll 1d20 in the tournament chat in discord.
• The player with the higher score is the first to choose a map to play, followed by the player with the lower score and then in the same order. (In case of equality of numbers after /roll, players throw /roll again).
  
  Faction Veto Rules:
• Faction Veto starts from the Semi-final stage onwards
• Players throw /roll 1d20 in the tournament chat in discord. The player with the highest value thrown is the first to ban his opponent's faction, followed by his opponent (players can ban each other's factions). This order is maintained until the end of the match

The tournament selection rule (see disclaimer):
Players from countries that have restrictions on receiving prizes from the FAF, as well as other Russian-speaking players who have the ability to receive a transfer from a Russian card can participate in the tournament.
12 players with the highest 1x1 rating (as of 20.04.2025) can participate in the tournament without qualification. The remaining 4 places will be played in the qualifying tournament on the 10th of May
