Disclaimer:
This is not an official, closed tournament, for players from countries that cannot receive prizes from the FAF.
The tournament is not intended to offend anyone on national or other grounds.
I love FAF and have been organising tournaments for many years. The only purpose is to give a boost to the community activity and to have interesting games.
At the moment I am not able to transfer money to other countries, so I cannot make an open tournament with prize money. Tournaments without a prize pool in my experience do not attract a large number of players, especially 2k+.
If you are ready to take part in an open 1x1 tournament with no prize money and no rating restrictions - write under this post. In case of a large number of willing players I will organise such a tournament

Формат турнира:
Турнир рассчитан на 16 участников и будет состоять из 2-ух этапов.
Первый этап - групповая стадия. 4 группы по 4 игрока играют по принципу "каждый с каждым" в формате БО3 (до 2 побед)
Второй этап - плей-офф на 8 участников (1 и 2 место каждой группы). 1/4 стадия - игры в формате БО3. 1/2 стадия - игры в формате БО5 (до 3 побед). Финал в формате БО7 (до 4 побед), матч за третье место - БО5
Распределение по группам будет осуществляться по рейтингу.
Вето фракций будет применяться только со стадии 1/2. По принципу: каждый может забанить 1 фракцию своему оппоненту.
Вето карт будет также применяться только со стадии 1/2 (подробности смотреть в "Список карт")

Принцип отбора на турнира (смотреть дисклеймейкер):
В турнире могут принять участие игроки из стран, имеющих ограничения на получения призов от ФАФ, а также другие русскоязычные игроки, у которых есть возможность получить перевод с российской карты.
Игроки имеющие 1800+ рейтинга в 1х1 (по состоянию на 20.04.2025) могут принять участие в турнире без отбора. Оставшиеся места будут отданы игрокам с наибольшим рейтингом или разыграны в отборочном турнире 10 мая, в случае большого количества желающих (будет создан отдельный пост).

Tournament Format:
The tournament is for 16 participants and will have 2 stages.
The first stage is the group stage. 4 groups of 4 players play on the basis of the principle ‘each with each other’ in BO3 format (up to 2 wins).
Second stage is play-off for 8 participants (1st and 2nd place of each group). 1/4 stage - games in BO3 format. 1/2 stage - games in BO5 format. Final in BO7 format, match for third place - BO5.
Distribution in groups will be carried out by rating.
Veto factions will be applied only from stage 1/2. On the basis of the principle: everyone can ban 1 faction to his opponent.
Map veto will also be applied only from stage 1/2 (see details in ‘List of maps’).

The tournament selection rule (see disclaimer):
Players from countries that have restrictions on receiving prizes from the FAF, as well as other Russian-speaking players who have the ability to receive a transfer from a Russian card can participate in the tournament.
Players with 1800+ rating in 1x1 (as of 20.04.2025) can participate in the tournament without qualification. The remaining places will be given to the players with the highest rating or played in the qualifying tournament on the 10th of May, in case of a large number of willing players (a new post will be created).
