This tournament will have 1 qualifier stage tournament to make up the additional 8 players entering the 16 man group stage.

Then a 16 man group stage split across two different days to maximise casting before entering a final 8 man battle until we get to the Gold, Silver, Bronze and 4th place matches.

Qualifier: 25th November 2023

Followed by a 16 player round robin event group stage.

Group Stage - split between Groups A & B, Groups C & D.
Groups A & B : 2nd December 2023
Groups C & D : 3rd December 2023

Round of 8 and Semi-Finals: 9th December 2023.
Finals Bronze and 4th Place matches: 10th December 2023.

Qualifier 1 - 25th November 2023:

This is a 1v1 Double Elimination bracket with BO3 games in the winners bracket and BO1 games in the losers bracket. The bracket will be seeded based on ladder rating.

This tournament is only open to players currently placed in 1v1 Masters, Grandmasters, and/or those with 1500+ ladder rating.

There is no maximum number of players. The number of BO1s vs BO3s in the winners bracket will be adjusted to ensure a timely tournament.

Are you sure that BO7 RO8 and BO9 semis and finals is not a little too much? That will take hours

@noc We never had BO7 RO8 and BO9 Semis/bronze/finals. I think that's just a bit too much. If I were to play full BO7 in the RO8 followed by a BO9 in the semi Final I probably would just stop at some time, that's simply too many games. I think that 8-10 games per day is a max.

Bo5 group stage is also pretty brutal, but prize pool is way higher than usual. Could keep this format if you give more days to play on, but for now i agree with tagada

I like thats we have bo9, Thats going not to be a free money for a losers thats join to play once per year. Thats I protest to make it less quality games (we are fighting over prize pool, As FTX once said: "This distinguishes the best from the best")

If people are interested, I can make some new avas. Looks like the same ones are being used that I made 3-4 years ago so thought I would offer to update a bit.
