Units get transferred not by me

Two games, both dual gap, my units or parts of my base have been transferred to another player, not by me. Surely this is some kind of exploit, because if it's a game feature it makes no sense?! Is it punishment for playing gap??

Part of my base gets transferred, but the game is a desync, so can't see the replay. -
Almost certainly the game was hosted with union control by the host that allows teammates to control your units

Please tell the hosts you're playing with to use the new "union control upon disconnect" option.

Thanks for the replies. I suppose a feature like that would work if all the players know and trust each other. Not great when playing with randoms, though, which is what us casual players do. The hosts of these games don't speak English and I am not committed enough to host.
